Objectives: The interpretation of lymph-vascular space invasion (LVSI) is usually qualitative, as presence or absence. The aim of this study is to investigate the prognostic role of LVSI in patients affected by endometrial cancer, when evaluated with a semiquantitative analysis. Methods: This retrospective multicentre study enrolled patients who received a histologically confirmed diagnosis of endometrial cancer. STUDY QUESTION: Is endometrial recurrent implantation failure (RIF) only a matter of an asynchronous (displaced) window of implantation (WOI), or could it also be a pathological (disrupted) WOI? Here, we describe a protocol for the implementation of a heterologous mouse model in which progression of endometriosis can be assessed in real time through noninvasive monitoring of fluorescence emitted by implanted ectopic human endometrial tissue. It is well established that repeated social defeat stress can induce negative long-term consequences such as increased anxiety-like behavior and enhances the reinforcing effect of psychostimulants in rodents. Publications are often used as a measure of research work success. Human T-lymphotropic virus (HTLV) type 1 and 2 are human retroviruses, which were discovered in the early 1980s, and it is estimated that 15-20 million people are infected worldwide. This article describes a bibliometric review and a coauthorship network analysis of literature on HTLV indexed in PubMed in a 24-year period. A total of 7,564 documents were retrieved, showing a decrease in the number of documents from 1996 to 2007. HTLV manuscripts were published in 1,074 journals.
