Komunitas Gastropoda pada Padang Lamun Perairan Pantai Manokwari

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengidentifikasi dan menganalisa struktur komunitas gastropoda di pesisir pantai Manokwari. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan metode transek di dua stasiun pengamatan yaitu Pantai Briosi BLK dan Pantai Rendani. Setiap stasiun diletakkan tiga garis transek ke arah laut dan setiap transek terdiri atas 10 kuadrat. Transek ini diletakkan di atas padang lamun. Analisis data dilakukan meliputi indeks keanekaragaman, indeks keseragaman, dominasi dan kepadatan gastropoda. The correlation between right-wing authoritarianism and social dominance orientation: The moderating effects of political and religious identity

In a secondary analysis performed on a representative sample of the Italian population (N = 887), we examined the correlation between right-wing authoritarianism (RWA) and social dominance orientation (SDO), analyzing the moderating effect exerted on such correlation by political interest and religion importance. RWA and SDO showed a positive, significant correlation (r = .38), moderated by political interest (which heightened it) and religion importance (which lowered it). Limits, implications, and possible developments of the research are discussed.

Abstract The authors argue that cross-national variation in the association between right-wing authoritarianism (RWA) and social dominance orientation (SDO) depends upon the degree to which political systems are organized along a single explicitly ideologically articulated left–right dimension. First, the main characteristics of the resident/intruder paradigm and the colony models are given. Intrasexual competition at work: Sex differences in the jealousy-evoking effect of rival characteristics in work settings

Sex differences in jealousy-evoking rival characteristics in the relationship with a supervisor at work were examined in a community sample of 188 individuals from Argentina. Among men, the rivals’ social dominance and communal attributes evoked the most jealousy, followed by physical dominance. Among women, the rival’s communal attributes evoked the most jealousy, followed by social dominance and physical attractiveness. The paper reports on the development of the equipment for studies of the eye dominance and ocular stereoprevalence by using black-and-white and color stereostimuli. The stereostimuli are separated either by color-filter goggles or phase separating liquid-crystal-shutter goggles. The stability of the stereoprevalence is studied by artificial step-by-step deterioration of the retinal image quality, particularly in the dominant eye.
