Background Due to the low potential for primary biological healing of the anterior cruciate ligament (ACL), the most popular approach is currently reconstruction using a graft. Recent research indicates that the technique of strengthening a damaged ligament with synthetic tapes (internal bracing) may be an alternative to reconstructive treatment, especially in cases of partial ACL damage. El presente estudio investiga sobre los resultados obstétricos y perinatales en los ciclos de donación de ovocitos de pacientes que participaron en un ensayo aleatorizado (ECA), que analizó el efecto del uso de la concentración atmosférica vs baja concentración de oxígeno durante las primeras etapas del desarrollo embrionario. Posteriormente se añadieron nuevos datos (datos que no se encontraban en el ECA) para aumentar el tamaño muestral del estudio. Se incluyeron 1230 ciclos de pacientes de los que 1125 corresponden al ECA. El estudio comparativo muestra cómo ambos palacios se usaban inicialmente como residencias de caza en lugares con abundancia de agua y pesca.
