espanolEn este trabajo se revisa la participacion de mujeres pioneras europeas en el campo psicologico, con el objetivo de analizar su aportacion al desarrollo de la disciplina, a lo largo del siglo xx y principios del xxi. Para ello, de las fuentes de la bibliografia que ofrece Benjamin, en 1980, se han seleccionado siete mujeres nacidas en Europa, en el siglo xix. Y a partir de una metodologia bibliometrica se ha examinado la informacion del Social Sciences Citation Index, –ssci–, desde 1900 hasta 2016. Masu apkalpošanas sistēmu tīklu izmantošana bankas darbībā

Bakalaura darbā ir īss masu apkalpošanas teorijas apraksts un vēstures ieskats. Tiek aprakstītas masu apkalpošanas sistēmas un masu apkalpošanas tīkli. Darba mērķis ir izpētīt divus dažādus masu apkalpošanas tīklus – atvērto Džeksona tīklu un slēgto Gordona – Ņūela tīklu. Darba noslēgumā ir izstrādāti praktiski uzdevumi, kuros tiek izmantotas Džeksona un Gordona – Ņūela teorēmas.

Šajā darbā tiek sniegts ieskats masu apkalpošanas sistēmu tīklu dažādos veidos, tiek dotas formulas tīklu darbības rādītāju noteikšanai un aprakstīti reizinājumu formas tīkli. Sīkāk tiek apskatīti trīs masu apkalpošanas sistēmas tīklu veidi - Džeksona tīkli, Gordona-Ņūela tīkli un BCMP tīkli. Katram veidam ir arī dots piemērs ar aprēķiniem. Ir arī piedāvāti uzdevumi patstāvīgai risināšanai.

Peri-Operative Liver Regeneration of the Remnant Liver Volume after Right Hepatectomy for Living Donation: A Multiple Regression Analysis

Early liver regeneration was studied in a series of 70 patients who underwent right hepatectomy for living donation from November 2004 to January 2010. Liver regeneration was evaluated by multidetector computed tomography at a mean time of 61.07 days after surgery. Pre-surgical variables such as age, weight, height, body mass index, liver function tests, creatinine, platelet count, international normalized ratio, glucose, and variables detected with preoperative multidetector computed tomography imaging, including diameter of main portal vein, steatosis, original liver volume and spleen volume, were investigated as potential predictors of liver regeneration. "Facta non verba" : an experiment on pledging and giving

International audience; We design an experiment to investigate whether asking people to state how much they will donate to a charity (i.e., to pledge) increases their actual donation. Individuals’ endowment is either certain or a random variable. We study different types of pledges, namely, private, public and irrevocable, which differ in terms of the cost to the individual for not keeping the promise. We show that in absence of endowment uncertainty, private and public pledges are associated with lower donations as compared to donations in the no-pledge case: private pledges slightly reduce donations and public pledges reduce them more significantly.
