Cultivo de preembriones humanos en presencia de alta tensión de oxígeno: resultados obstétricos y perinatales

El presente estudio investiga sobre los resultados obstétricos y perinatales en los ciclos de donación de ovocitos de pacientes que participaron en un ensayo aleatorizado (ECA), que analizó el efecto del uso de la concentración atmosférica vs baja concentración de oxígeno durante las primeras etapas del desarrollo embrionario. Posteriormente se añadieron nuevos datos (datos que no se encontraban en el ECA) para aumentar el tamaño muestral del estudio. Se incluyeron 1230 ciclos de pacientes de los que 1125 corresponden al ECA. La posició de la dona dins de l’àmbit científic ha evolucionat positivament de manera signifi cativa en els últims anys, especialment en l’última dècada amb l’aprovació de mesures per a aconseguir la igualtat efectiva entre dones i homes. No obstant això, tot i que el nombre de dones és cada vegada major en les universitats, és evident que falta molt de camí per recórrer.

This article aims to analyse critically the so-called “new realism” and to evaluate its pedagogical and educational consequences. By examining the objections made by this philosophy to the postmodernist culture, the author agrees on some aspects of its theory of knowledge. On the other hand, the article highlights the lack of adequate anthropology and possible consequences of the “new realism” on educational thought and practice. The proposal of an ontology of the person wellestablished in the tradition of phenomenological realism is seen as dialectics of the “new realism”.

The essay deals with the deceased donor organ donations and, in particular, with the nature and the features of the consent which authorizes the removal from the body of a deceased person of any relevant material. The analysis is conducted through the scrutiny of the relationship that exists between the choice about to be or not an organ donor and the social interest to obtain a rapid increase of organ donation. The essay makes a comparison between the Italian and the English legal approaches to the freedom of deciding the allocations of removed organs, with a special regard to directed donations.
