23 GHz VLBI observations of SN 2008ax (Research Note)

We report on phase-referenced 23 GHz Very-Long-Baseline-Interferometry (VLBI) observations of the type IIb supernova SN 2008ax, made with the Very Long Baseline Array (VLBA) on 2 April 2008 (33 days after explosion). These observations resulted in a marginal detection of the supernova. The total flux density recovered from our VLBI image is 0.8 ± 0.3 mJy (one standard deviation). As it appears, the structure may be interpreted as either a core-jet or a double source. However, the supernova structure could be somewhat confused with a possible close by noise peak. \(\bf Background:\) The relation between training load, especially internal load, and the recovery-stress state is of central importance for avoiding negative adaptations in high-performance sports like swimming. The aim of this study was to analyze the individual time-delayed linear effect relationship between training load and recovery-stress state with single case time series methods and to monitor the acute recovery-stress state of high-performance swimmers in an economical and multidimensional manner over a macro cycle. An X-ray characterization of the central region of the supernova remnant G332.5-5.6

Aims. We present an X-ray analysis of the central region of supernova remnant (SNR) G332.5-5.6 through an exhaustive analysis of XMM-Netwon observations with complementary infrared observations. We characterize and discuss the origin of the observed X-ray morphology, which presents a peculiar plane edge over the west side of the central region. Methods. The morphology and spectral properties of the X-ray SNR were studied using a single full frame XMM-Netwon observation in the 0.3 to 10.0 keV energy band. Several scientific studies have shown that landscape is a significant component of residential satisfaction of inhabitants in urban and suburban areas (Hur & Nasar, 2010; Kweon et al., 2010). Although neglected by land-use planning for decades (Gallent et al., 2004), urban fringes are particularly interesting for analyzing landscape changes.
