The most studied nonlinear resonance is undoubtedly the famous stochastic resonance, which consists of perturbing a nonlinear system with an appropriate amount of noise to enhance the detection of a subthreshold input signal. BACKGROUND AND OBJECTIVES: This European Group for Blood and Marrow Transplantation (EBMT) multicentre randomized phase III study was designed to assess the safety and efficacy of CD34+ selection in newly diagnosed myeloma patients undergoing autologous transplantation. DESIGN AND METHODS: One hundred and eleven patients responsive to initial chemotherapy were randomized to receive CD34+ selected (arm A) or unselected PBPC (arm B) after conditioning with high-dose melphalan and TBI. ASO-PCR was used to assess purging efficacy and reinfused tumor load. Tumor load could be assessed in 59 patients. RESULTS: CD34+ selection gave a median tumor cell depletion of 2.2 logs (0.77-5.96). Abstract In this paper, we introduce the concepts of -compatible mappings, b-coupled coincidence point and b-common coupled fixed point for mappings F, G : X × X → X, where (X, d) is a cone metric space. We establish b-coupled coincidence and b-common coupled fixed point theorems in such spaces. The presented theorems generalize and extend several well-known comparable results in the literature, in particular the recent results of Abbas et al. [Appl. Math. Comput. 217, 195-202 (2010)]. Following three previous papers (van Oort et al., 2016, 2017, 2020) dealing with current soil characteristics and geochemical budgets in surface horizons, as well as the impacts of fertilization in subsurface horizons in soils of INRAE’s long term bare fallow experiment (the 42-plots trial), we now present some chronological aspects of soil evolution at the soil’s surface since 1928.
