Bakalaura darbā tiek pētītas eidos un idea nozīmes Platona vēlīnajos dialogos Kratils un Teaitēts, kā arī Valsts (I – III grāmata). Darba autores izsaka pieņēmumu, ka nozīme ir lietojums, tādejādi eidos un idea nozīmju noskaidrošanai būtisks ir eidos un idea lietojums, kas ir atkarīgs no konteksta. Izmantojot šo pieņēmumu bakalaura darbā cenšas parādīt, ka Platona vēlīnajos dialogos Teaitēts un Kratils, ka arī Valsts (I– III grāmata) gan vārdam eidos, gan vārdam idea ir vairākas nozīmes, kas noteiktos kontekstos pārklājās. The discharge of active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) into the aquatic environment from wastewater effluents is a concern in many countries. Although many studies have been conducted to evaluate the APIs removal efficiencies and emissions to the environment in wastewater treatment plants (WWTPs), most of these studies considered the aqueous and sludge phases, disregarding the suspended particulate matter (SPM) phase. Active pharmaceutical ingredients, especially antibiotics, are micropollutants whose continuous flow into hydrological cycles has the potential to mediate antibiotic resistance in the environment and cause toxicity to sensitive organisms. Here, we investigated the levels of selected antibiotics in four wastewater treatment plants and the receiving water bodies. The measured environmental concentrations were compared with the proposed compound-specific predicted no-effect concentration for resistance selection values. In vitro sulfonation of 7-hydroxycoumarin derivatives in liver cytosol of human and six animal species

Sulfonation is an important high affinity elimination pathway for phenolic compounds.In this study sulfonation of 7-hydroxycoumarin and 13 its derivatives were evaluated in liver cytosols of human and six animal species. 7-hydroxycoumarin and its derivatives are strongly fluorescent, and their sulfate conjugates are nonfluorescent at excitation 405 nm and emission 460 nm. A convenient fluorescence based kinetic assay of sulfonation was established.The sulfonation rate of most of the 7-hydroxycoumarin derivatives was low in liver cytosol of human and pig, whereas it was high with most compounds in dog and intermediate in rat, mouse, rabbit, and sheep. Maģistra darbs „Atbildības par dzimumnoziegumiem regulējums” ir veltīts Krimināllikuma XVI nodaļā noteiktajai atbildībai par noziedzīgiem nodarījumiem pret tikumību un dzimumneaizskaramību. Par maģistra darba aktualitāti liecina tas, ka dzimumnoziegumu skaits nemazinās, bet pieaug. Pieaug izdarīto dzimumnoziegumu bīstamība, pieaug dzimumnoziegumu skaits, kas ir vērsti pret mazgadīgām vai nepilngadīgām personām, kā arī aizvien vairāk vainīgo dzimumnoziegumos ir gados jaunas personas. Lai mazinātu dzimumnoziegumu skaitu un paredzētu bargāku sodu par šāda veida noziedzīga nodarījumu izdarīšanu, Krimināllikuma XVI nodaļā ir izdarīti vairāki grozījumi.
