Idebenone is a ubiquinone short-chain synthetic analog with antioxidant properties, which is believed to restore mitochondrial ATP synthesis. As such, idebenone is investigated in numerous clinical trials for diseases of mitochondrial aetiology and it is authorized as a drug for the treatment of Leber’s hereditary optic neuropathy. Mitochondria of retinal pigment epithelium (RPE) are particularly vulnerable to oxidative damage associated with cellular senescence. The text explains the difference between Marx?s concept of «oppression» and others as «coercion» by Durkheim or «domination» by Weber. The article then establishes, in a methodical way, the centrality of a passage from Capital, in which three different theories on «oppression» appear. It?s explained that two of them are rather a philosophical antinomy. The other, relative to the heteronomy of social time, can be completed by defining the heteronomy of social space, which gives it analytical virtuality. Some examples are given.

La inscripción en el registro consular no es obligatoria para los emigrantes españoles. Conlleva, no obstante, una serie de ventajas que propician, antes o después, su realización. En este artículo se identifican y analizan los principales motivos que animan a ello a los emigrantes españoles. Se toman como base fundamental los datos e informaciones obtenidos a través de una encuesta cuantitativa y entrevistas semiestructuradas realizadas a más de cuatro mil españoles residentes en el extranjero. Se describen las secuelas neurológicas en niños diagnosticados de un tumor en el cerebelo y se ofrecen los resultados de la evaluación de 39 niños, con tumor en el cerebelo, tratados en la Unidad de Oncología Pediátrica del Hospital Infantil “La Fe” de Valencia. Asimismo, se compara la evaluación de secuelas de dos niños de educación infantil afectados de un tumor en el cerebelo: Yolanda (meduloblastoma, PNET) y Santiago (astrocitoma cerebeloso), y se describen las áreas en las que es aconsejable realizar un programa de intervención psicoeducativa.

The article emphasizes the significance of EU studies for political thought and concepts. It deals with the seemingly technical topic of the membership of cabinet ministers in parliament. This practice arose in eighteenth-century Westminster and has been discussed since the mid-nineteenth century, Walter Bagehot's and Max Weber's writings being landmarks. When the European Parliamentary Assembly in 1960 interpreted the Treaty of Rome, it took the view, by a narrow margin, that membership of the Parliament was incompatible with membership of the Commission. Sideritis italica (Miller) Greuter et Burdet (Lamiaceae), widely used in ethnopharmacological medicine, occurs in Southern Italy and Sicily. The phytochemical composition of the essential oils of S. italica flowers and leaves, harvested in Piano Battaglia (Sicily), was analysed by GC and GC-MS. Of the 51 compounds, 43 in the oil from flowers and 29 in the oil from leaves were identified. Kaur-15-ene (20.0%) was recognised as the main constituent of the oil from flowers, together with -cubebene (12.1%), -pinene (8.5%), (Z)-nuciferol (6.5%), tricyclene (4.5%) and -bisabolol (4.0%).
