FluorMODleaf: A new leaf fluorescence emission model based on the PROSPECT model

International audience; A new model of chlorophyll a fluorescence emission by plant leaves, FluorMODleaf, is presented. It is an extension of PROSPECT, a widely used leaf optical properties model that regards the leaf as a pile of N absorbing and diffusing elementary plates. In FluorMODleaf, fluorescence emission of an infinitesimal layer of thickness dx is integrated over the entire elementary plate. The fluorescence source function is based on the excitation spectrum of diluted isolated thylakoids and on the emission spectra of isolated photosystems, PSI and PSII, which are the main pigment–protein complexes involved in the initial stages of photosynthesis. Abstract Multiaxial high cycle fatigue criteria based on the critical plane approach necessitate unambiguous definitions of the amplitude and mean value of the shear stress (τa and τm) acting on the material planes. Four of the existing definitions relate the values of τa and τm to a geometrical element of the curve described by the tip of the shear stress vector (curve Ψ), respectively, the radius of the Minimum Circumscribed Circle, the Longest Chord, the Longest Projection, the diagonal of the Maximum Rectangular Hull (MRH). Abstract. This paper presents an approximate method to predict the natural frequencies of thin-walled cylinders. By taking inspiration from a previous work of one of the authors, the starting point of the proposed approach is a proper construction of reasonable eigenfunctions. However, a new simple tool based on the principle of virtual work has been developed to estimate the natural frequencies and the amplitude of vibration without complex numerical resolution. -Objetivos: Comparar la eficacia analgésica de dos antiinflamatorios no esteroideos (AINES), pertenecientes a la familia de los ácidos propiónicos, tras intervenciones quirúrgicas orales con el fin de valorar cual de ellos es más efectivo con el mínimo de efectos secundarios y la menor dosis. Normalmente el dolor tras una intervención quirúrgica oral está considerado como moderado-intenso, siendo los AINES los fármacos de elección para este tipo de dolor.
