Based on data from the Household Survey conducted by INE in 1990-1991, we examine private educational expenditures in Andalusian Region. First, we look at the educational family budgets from a descrittive point of view. Then, we fit different econometrics expenditures models to analyse the behaviour of Andalusian families in the field of education.

Graduate employment and the returns to higher education in Africa

Importantly, one of our methods adjusts for the effect of higher education on the rate of joblessness, which is substantial in most African countries, and particularly for women.
