Cuando realizamos una anestesia del plexo braquial por encima de la clavícula, la proximidad del nervio frénico provoca un bloqueo de forma frecuente, y este hecho conlleva una disfunción hemidiafragmática en grado variable. Obiettivi dello studio: È noto che la Malattia Celiaca (MC) ha dei segni ecografici che frequentemente si associano ad essa. Visto la limitatezza dei presidi per la diagnosi di Non Celiac Gluten Sensitivity (NCGS) noi abbiamo valutato in una popolazione di pazienti con NCGS l’aspetto ecografico delle anse intestinali, della milza e della vena porta e di confrontarlo con quello dei pazienti celiaci. Linear Feature Extraction for Ranking

We address the feature extraction problem for document ranking in information retrieval. We then propose LifeRank, a Linear feature extraction algorithm for Ranking. In LifeRank, we regard each document collection for ranking as a matrix, referred to as the original matrix. We try to optimize a transformation matrix, so that a new matrix (dataset) can be generated as the product of the original matrix and a transformation matrix. Human Activity Signatures Captured under Different Directions Using SISO and MIMO Radar Systems

In this paper, we highlight and resolve the shortcomings of single-input single-output (SISO) millimeter wave (mm-Wave) radar systems for human activity recognition (HAR). A 2×2 distributed multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) radar framework is presented to capture human activity signatures under realistic conditions in indoor environments. We propose to distribute the two pairs of collocated transmitter–receiver antennas in order to illuminate the indoor environment from different perspectives. Integration of large-area optical imagers for biometric recognition and touch in displays

In recent years there has been an increasing interest to integrate optical sensing in mobile displays, for instance, for biometric fingerprint scanning functionality. There are several routes to incorporate optical fingerprint functionality within the full display area, each with their own benefits and challenges. Omnidirectional (or 360°) cameras are acquisition devices that, in the next few years, could have a big impact on video surveillance applications, research, and industry, as they can record a spherical view of a whole environment from every perspective. This paper presents two new contributions to the research community: the CVIP360 dataset, an annotated dataset of 360° videos for distancing applications, and a new method to estimate the distances of objects in a scene from a single 360° image. Distributed optimal power flow for islanded microgrids: An application to the Smart Polygeneration Microgrid of the Genoa University

In this work, the application of an original distributed optimal power flow method to test a microgrid in the Savona area, Italy is proposed. The microgrid shows different types of Distributed Energy Resources (DERs) and is connected to the main grid through a fixed power bus. Due to the high computational speed, the applied distributed Optimal Power Flow can be performed almost in real time, i.e. every 5 minutes or less. The operating solution found for generators, simply using local information, corresponds to a suboptimal condition with reduced losses, bus voltages and line currents within constrained intervals. Por tanto, es muy importante disponer de valores de referencia para todos los parámetros cardiacos ajustados a nuestra población. Una forma de describir una medida de un parámetro cardiaco es mediante los Z score, que expresan cuántas desviaciones estándar está una observación por encima o debajo de la media esperada. Los Z score permiten normalizar el tamaño de las estructuras cardiacas respecto a algún parámetro de la biometría fetal, en vez de con la edad gestacional.
