Synthesis of 6,12-Disubstituted Methanodibenzo[b,f][1,5]dioxocins : Pyrrolidine Catalyzed Self-Condensation of 2′-Hydroxyacetophenones

The preparation of unprecedented 6,12-disubstituted methanodibenzo[b,f][1,5]dioxocins from pyrrolidine catalyzed self-condensation of 2′-hydroxyacetophenones is herein described. This method provides easy access to this highly bridged complex core, resulting in construction of two C–O and two C–C bonds, a methylene bridge and two quaternary centers in a single step. The intricate methanodibenzo[b,f][1,5]dioxocin compounds were obtained in up to moderate yields after optimization of the reaction conditions concerning solvent, reaction times and the use of additives. Several halide substituted methanodibenzo[b,f][1,5]dioxocins could be prepared from correspondent 2′-hydroxyacetophenones.

Esta carta crea un precedente en España, ya que por primera vez se muestra la percepción que tienen los médicos de familia sobre las tres consultas de optometría abiertas en el Servicio Navarro de Salud (Osasunbidea), transcurridos 10 años de la creación de la primera de ellas en 2006. Teniendo en cuenta que no todas las comunidades autónomas cuentan con estas consultas implementadas en el sistema sanitario, consideramos que este servicio es fundamental ponerlo en marcha y desarrollarlo en el resto de comunidades, para ofrecer al paciente una mejor atención primaria. Burnout, work engagement and workaholism among highly educated employees: Profiles, antecedents and outcomes

The present study examined the longitudinal profiles of burnout, engagement and workaholism among highly educated employees. First, the latent profile modeling indicated two latent classes: Engaged and Exhausted-Workaholic. Second, the results revealed that employees with the Engaged profile experienced high levels of energy and dedication, whereas employees with the Exhausted-Workaholic profile experienced exhaustion, cynicism and workaholism. Social pessimism in the transition from high education to work predicted poor subjective well-being at work. Purpose: The main purpose of this study is to apply a multigroup confirmatory analysis to examine the measurement invariance (MI) of the adapted version of the Job Diagnosis Survey (JDS) as a measurement tool that analyses the relationship between the features of teaching methodologies with university students’ motivation and satisfaction across data collected on different degrees and academic years. La adaptación al EEES conlleva, entre otros cambios, el fomento de la movilidad de los estudiantes. Ello implica que en la docencia se contemple el papel que representa, como competencia transversal, el dominio de otras lenguas, a fin de competir con estudiantes de otros países europeos. Este artículo es resultado de un proyecto de innovación didáctica en el que planteamos, junto a otras actividades, realizar una encuesta a los estudiantes sobre percepción del dominio de lenguas extranjeras e importancia concedida para su futuro profesional. Los resultados muestran una brecha importante que lleva a plantear medidas que consigan acercar el grado de importancia al de dominio.
