Laimes izjūtu veicinošo stratēģiju izmantošanas ietekme uz subjektīvās labklājības rādītājiem

Bakalaura darba mērķis bija apkopot šobrīd zināmās laimes izjūtu paaugstinošās stratēģijas un realizēt eksperimentālu pētījumu, lai noskaidrotu vai pēc dalības 4 nedēļu ilgā laimes izjūtu paaugstinošu stratēģiju intervencē būs vērojama laimes izjūtas līmeņa paaugstināšanās. Pētījumā piedalījās 145 respondenti (kontroles grupa n=75, eksperimentālā grupa n=70) vecumā no 18 līdz 74 gadiem. Eksperimentālās grupas dalībnieki 4 nedēļu garumā realizēja laimes izjūtu paaugstinošās stratēģijas. Abās grupās tika veikti subjektīvās laimes izjūtas mērījumi pirms un pēc dalības pētījumā. Rainfall-induced landslides in volcanic ashes represent a major natural hazard in many regions around the world. Owing to their loose structure, volcanic ash slopes are prone to rainfall-induced landslides. The paper presents a continuum modelling approach for the analysis of wetting-induced instability phenomena at the onset of failure in loose volcanic ash slopes. A numerical simulation of a landslide-prone volcanic slope in Costa Rica is carried out with a two-dimensional hydro-mechanical finite-element slope model. Substratum recognition as settlement cue for larvae of Dendropoma cristatum (Biondi, 1859)

Despite the ecological relevance of the vermetid bioconstructions in the Mediterranean, little is known about the early life stage of Dendropoma cristatum. This study describes the preference for settlement substrata from D. cristatumlarvae. A field experiment was carried out to test the suitability of crustose coralline algae (CCA), D. cristatumadults and two inorganic substrata as settlement surfaces. The number of settling larvae varied among the four treatments with higher settlement success on organic surfaces. We used terrestrial laser scanning (TLS) for (i) accurate volume estimations of dislocated boulders moved by high-energy impacts and for (ii) monitoring of annual coastal changes. In this contribution, we present three selected sites in Western Greece that were surveyed during a time span of four years (2008-2011). The Riegl LMS-Z420i laser scanner was used in combination with a precise DGPS system (Topcon HiPer Pro). Each scan position and a further target were recorded for georeferencing and merging of the point clouds.
