This study examined teachers’ occupational well-being by identifying profiles based on teachers’ self-ratings of work engagement as well as work-related effort and reward. It also did so by examining whether the identified subgroups differed with respect to teachers’ self-reported occupational stress and emotional exhaustion as well as with respect to work-related resources such as the individual resource of work meaningfulness and the leader-level resource of the leader–follower relationship. Online ^{222}Rn removal by cryogenic distillation in the XENON100 experiment

International audience; We describe the purification of xenon from traces of the radioactive noble gas radon using a cryogenic distillation column. The distillation column was integrated into the gas purification loop of the XENON100 detector for online radon removal. This enabled us to significantly reduce the constant$^{222}$ Rn background originating from radon emanation. After inserting an auxiliary$^{222}$ Rn emanation source in the gas loop, we determined a radon reduction factor of $R\,>\,27$ (95% C.L.) for the distillation column by monitoring the$^{222}$ Rn activity concentration inside the XENON100 detector.

<p style="text-align: justify;">L'effet colloïde-protecteur d'extraits mannoprotéiques de parois de levures vis-à-vis de la précipitation tartrique a été étudié en solution hydroalcoolique, en utilisant un IST mètre (Indice de Stabilité Tartrique).</p><p style="text-align: justify;">Nous avons montré que les deux extraits levuriens inhibaient la cristallisation du bitartrate de potassium au même titre que l'acide métatartrique et la carboxyméthylcellulose, mais à un niveau plus faible. Although different studies have investigated career choices as cognitive acts of decision-making, non-cognitive components also play an important role. The study tries to develop an empirically based model of career decision-making process linking cognitive (search for work self-efficacy - SWSE) and non-cognitive (psychological well-being - PWB) components. In particular, the study investigates, among 148 never-employed Italian young adults, to what extent the relationship between SWSE and career indecision in terms of lack of readiness (LoR) can be explained by their common relationship with PWB. L’objectif principal de ce travail était de mesurer les effets de la pratique musicale sur deux aspects des apprentissages des élèves : le développement cognitif et les acquisitions scolaires.
