In this work, thermoelectric textiles were prepared by coating the fabrics, first with multiple-wall carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs) by using the layer-by-layer technique and second with poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene) (PEDOT) deposited by electrochemical polymerization. It would often be practical to starve the cultivated fishes over the weekends, e.g. to save in labour costs. We evaluated the possibility that domesticated juvenile rainbow trout (Oncorhynchus mykiss) could compensate for the lost growth of the 2-day weekend starvation by either hyperphagic response and/or by lower feed conversion ratio, compared to the fish fed every day in an 8-week experiment. International audience; Gas–matrix partition coefficients (k) of volatile compounds of a strawberry flavour added to a complex model system (custard dessert, COST action 921 recipe) were determined. The influence of fat content on the volatility of the strawberry aroma compounds was investigated using full fat milk- (FFM) and skimmed milk- (SM) custards. For the purpose of this study, the phase ratio variation (PRV) method was used because of its easy application for a mixture of volatiles without requiring any calibration. Abstract Active edible films based on chitosan and containing an active aroma compound have been investigated. The influence of the composition of the film forming solution (solvent, plasticizers, nanoparticles, emulsifiers and aroma traps) and process parameters (temperature and viscosity) on drying kinetics, water content, colour, aroma compound retention and partition coefficient was studied.
