Strongyloidiasis (caused by Strongyloides stercoralis, and to a lesser extent by Strongyloides fuelleborni) is one of the most neglected tropical diseases with endemic areas and affecting more than 100 million people worldwide. Chronic infections in endemic areas can be maintained for decades through the autoinfective cycle with the L3 filariform larvae. In these endemic areas, misdiagnosis, inadequate treatment and the facilitation of the hyperinfection syndrome by immunosuppression are frequent and contribute to a high mortality rate. Correlates and importance of neglect-like symptoms in complex regional pain syndrome

Neglect-like symptoms (NLS) are frequently observed in complex regional pain syndrome (CRPS). The clinical meaning of NLS, however, is largely unknown. Therefore, this study sets out to assess the importance of NLS for patient outcome and to explore their clinical correlates. We assessed NLS in a group of 53 patients with CRPS and compared the results to 28 healthy volunteers. Aquest treball analitza la reacció dels erudits i escriptors valencians davant els postulats de la filologia romànica sobre el català entre els anys 1858 i 1906, agrupant-los segons les seues respostes al tema del nom i de la identitat filològica del català. A més, tractem de relacionar les posicions d'aquests valencians amb el conjunt del moviment reinaixencista i amb la consciència de comunitat lingüística compartida amb catalans, balears i nordcatalans.
