Propiedades Psicométricas de la Escala de Creencia en un Mundo Justo General y Personal en el Contexto Argentino

El objetivo principal de este trabajo fue analizar las propiedades psicométricas de las Escalas de Creencia en un Mundo Justo General y Personal. Para tal fin, se examinó la estructura interna de ambas, testeando si evalúan un mismo constructo global o constituyen dos dimensiones diferenciadas, la consistencia interna de cada una y sus relaciones con las orientaciones religiosas. Participaron del estudio 328 estudiantes universitarios de la Ciudad Autónoma de Buenos Aires con edades entre 18 y 40 años (M = 24,1; DT = 3,88). Expondré los dos conjuntos de prescripciones más importantes de esa metodología: a) la necesidad de introducir conceptos ´teóricos´; b) el uso hipotético de la razón y la exigencia de sistematicidad, que se refieren a leyes empíricas y a los conceptos vinculados con tales leyes. En este trabajo me ocupo de la semántica de los términos de ficción, en el marco de una posición de tipo abstractista (KRIPKE 2011 y 2013, VAN INWAGEN 1977, SALMON 1998 y 2002, THOMASSON 1999, PREDELLI 1997, 2002 y 2005 y VOLTOLINI 2011). Recently, interest has been shown in the relationship between life satisfaction and self-concept, because life satisfaction seems to depend on the cultural context. Derivation of a Homogenized Two-Temperature Model from the Heat Equation

This work studies the heat equation in a two-phase material with spherical inclusions. Under some appropriate scaling on the size, volume fraction and heat capacity of the inclusions, we derive a coupled system of partial differential equations governing the evolution of the temperature of each phase at a macroscopic level of description. Voronovskaya type results and operators fixing two functions

The present paper deals with positive linear operators which fix two functions. The transfer of a given sequence (Ln) of positive linear operators to a new sequence (Kn) is investigated. A general procedure to construct sequences of positive linear operators fixing two functions which form an Extended Complete Chebyshev system is described. The Voronovskaya type formula corresponding to the new sequence which is strongly influenced by the nature of the fixed functions is obtained. In the last section our results are compared with other results existing in literature.
Constant sign and nodal solutions for nonlinear robin equations with locally defined source term

We consider a parametric Robin problem driven by a nonlinear, nonhomogeneous differential operator which includes as special cases the p-Laplacian and the (p,q)-Laplacian. The source term is parametric and only locally defined (that is, in a neighborhood of zero). Using suitable cut-off techniques together with variational tools and comparison principles, we show that for all big values of the parameter, the problem has at least three nontrivial smooth solutions, all with sign information (positive, negative and nodal).
Removing the saturation assumption in Bank-Weiser error estimator analysis in dimension three

International audience; We provide a new argument proving the reliability of the Bank-Weiser estimator for Lagrange piecewise linear finite elements in both dimension two and three. The extension to dimension three constitutes the main novelty of our study. In addition, we present a numerical comparison of the Bank-Weiser and residual estimators for a three-dimensional test case.
Optimum Design and Performance of an Electron Gun for a Ka-Band TWT

This paper deals with optimum design and development of a thermionic electron gun to meet specified beam requirements within defined electric and geometric constraints for a Ka -band traveling wave tube (TWT) for space applications. The electron gun design is based on the Pierce method and carried out according to the iterative process indicated by Vaughan. The design of a periodic permanent magnet (PPM) beam focusing system for the stability of the beam is also required. A sensitivity analysis, by varying electric parameters and geometric parameters, is presented and taken into account as a fundamental role to the aim of optimizing the design of the Pierce gun.
