La ambigüedad del signo radical es un problema con raíces históricas que ha quedado recogido en una tradición de enseñanza reflejada en los manuales escolares. Aunque desde las matemáticas el problema no existe, no se puede decir lo mismo desde la didáctica. Por el contrario, el signo radical presenta sutilezas conceptuales y operatorias cuya omisión en los manuales es a menudo causa de malentendidos y conflictos fuertemente arraigados. Algunos de esos malentendidos son un producto de la enseñanza tradicional reflejada en los manuales que ignora los desarrollos matemáticos actuales.

Translation is analyzed from the standpoint of its systemic properties. Translation is shown to have the capacity to observe itself and its difference from the environment. Observation being a major autopoietic factor, translation may be considered as an autopoietic system. Doubts about this hypothesis arise because of the peculiarities of communicative properties of translation. Efficacy of screen recording in the other-revision of translations: episodic memory and event models

In a 2011 study, Angelone compared the self-revision results of graduate German translation students. Participants documented their original translations using Integrated Problem and Decision Reporting (IPDR) logs (Gile 2004), think-aloud protocols and screen recordings. They then used this documentation to assist self-revision of their translations. Angelone found a significant improvement in error detection overall and in each of six discrete error categories when participants used screen recordings to assist their self-revision. International audience; The spread of carbapenemase-producing Enterobacteriaceae in the Southwest Indian Ocean islands is poorly known. Here we describe an outbreak of colistin-resistant Enterobacter cloacae harbouring blaIMI-1 in the French overseas department of Mayotte. Between October 2015 and January 2017, all isolates of imipenem-non-susceptible E. cloacae at Mayotte Medical Center and University Hospital of Reunion Island were screened for carbapenemase production.
