Halloysite nanotubes filled with salicylic acid and sodium diclofenac: effects of vacuum pumping on loading and release properties

AbstractIn this work, we investigated the effects of the vacuum pumping on both the loading efficiencies and the release kinetics of halloysite nanotubes filled with drug molecules dissolved in ethanol. As model drugs, salicylic acid and sodium diclofenac were selected. For comparison, the loading of the drug molecules was conducted on platy kaolinite to explore the key role of the hollow tubular morphology on the filling mechanism of halloysite. [spa] Este artículo da noticia de la actividad del centro de producción de tapices de Tortosa entre 1425 y 1513; se documentan los maestros Pere Alfonso, Berenguer Baldrich, Joan Falsison, Jaume Sastre, Pere Marquès, Loor Batur, mestre Rubert y Joan Marroquí. Además, se proponen dos hipótesis principales: que en Tortosa se intentó poner en marcha una importante manufactura de tapices ("draps de Ras") hacia 1450, y que el citado Joan Falsison es el autor del tapiz de la Santa Cena de la catedral de Tortosa.

Tufted angiomas in childhood: A series of 9 cases and a literature review

Introduction: Tufted angioma (TA) is a rare benign vascular tumour that mostly appears during infancy or early childhood, although there are cases reported in adults. Clinical presentation and evolution of TA can vary. Histologically, it takes on a classic appearance of vascular tufts (“cannon ball” like appearance). Patients and methods: A retrospective observational study was conducted that included all patients diagnosed with TA at our centre in the last 20 years. Results: A series of 9 cases of tufted angioma in childhood are presented, 77.7% of which were congenital. This represents a frequency higher than previously described. La teoría del arte epistolar de Pedro Juan Núñez se halla impresa en su Ratio breuis et expedita conscribendi genera epistolarum illustriora. Ex dictatis P. Iohan. Nunnesii Valentini (Zaragoza, 1596 y Valencia, 1607). En su obra manuscrita, sin embargo, dedica una mayor atención y extensión tanto a la teoría como a los modelos, los ejercicios, los ejemplos y el comentario de epístolas de Cicerón. Una característica del arte epistolar de Núñez consiste en el uso del romance, con mucha mayor profusión que en su obra retórica, donde prácticamente no existe.
