Johdanto. Epäsuora kalorimetria on yleinen tapa määrittää lepoaineenvaihdunta (LAVESK). Tarkoituksena on tutkia LAVESK:n toistettavuutta ja pätevyyttä kannettavalla hengityskaasuanalysaattorilla määritettynä. Tutkimuksen toisessa osassa tutkitaan antropometristen ja hormonaalisten muuttujien yhteyttä lepoaineenvaihduntaan naiskestävyysjuoksijoilla. Naisurheilijan oireyhtymässä alhainen energiansaatavuus, kuukautiskierron häiriöt sekä alentunut luuston massa yhdistyvät toisiinsa. Alhainen energiansaatavuus on yhteydessä adaptiiviseen termogeneesiin, jolloin havaitaan muutoksia myös lepoaineenvaihdunnassa. Menetelmät. E-repozitoriju pārvaldības politika pagaidām ir maz pētīta Latvijā un citur pasaulē, taču tas ir svarīgs aspekts repozitorija nepārtrauktas un ilgstošas darbības nodrošināšanā. Bakalaura darbā uzmanība tiek pievērsta lielāko Latvijas universitāšu e-repozitoriju pārvaldības politikai un tās izstrādes aspektiem. Ir problemātiski noteikt vienotus pārvaldes principus visiem elektroniskajiem repozitorijiem, jo tie atšķiras atkarībā no atbildīgās institūcijas mērķiem. Assessment of sleep disturbances with the athlete sleep screening questionnaire in Chinese athletes.

This study investigated the factors that are associated with sleep disturbances among Chinese athletes. Sleep quality and associated factors were assessed by the Athlete Sleep Screening Questionnaire (ASSQ, n = 394, aged 18–32 years, 47.6% female). Sleep difficulty score (SDS) and level of sleep problem (none, mild, moderate, or severe) were used to classify participants' sleep quality. Categorical variables were analyzed by Chi-square or fisher's exact tests. An ordinal logistic regression analysis was used to explore factors with poor sleep (SDS ≥8). Replacing short-haul flights with high-speed rail (HSR) has been widely discussed as one solution to mitigate the climate change impacts of aviation. However, although HSR can provide travel times similar to those provided by short-haul flights, and at lower emission levels, it also requires considerable investments in time and infrastructure to build. Instead, this study considers the feasibility of replacing short-haul flights with existing non-high-speed rail (NHSR).
