This article goes through the events and the theoretical problems raised by the publication of a Semiotic essay that the author has dedicated to the analysis of Peppa Pig, a popular TV series targeted to early-childhood. Assuming a situated point of view, it chooses to dramatize the position of the researcher towards the complexity as represented by the emergence of the “wilderness” of the text to analyze. This papers presents the first results of an ongoing semiotic research over TV series targeted to early childhood in Italy. In particular, it focuses on discussing and explaining the great success of the animated series Peppa Pig aired in Italy on the thematic channel Rai YoYo, by comparing it with other series available in the same channel, in the period of its first launch (years 2014-2015). Tutkimus tarkastelee lastenkirjojen kuvahahmoja esikouluikäisten lasten kertomana. Tutkimus selvittää, mitä esikouluikäiset lapset kertovat käsityksistään muumista, Peppi Pitkätossusta sekä Lumikista ja seitsemästä kääpiöstä ja kyseisten hahmojen erilaisista versioista. Lastenkirjat ovat osa lapsuutta ja aikuisten lapsille tuottamaa lastenkulttuuria. Lasten tiedetään yleisesti pitävän kuvista ja katselevan kuvia ennen kirjallisen lukutaidon kehittymistä. In this paper the combined use of both RGB and phase stepping photoelasticity is proposed. The method is characterised by the following features: maximum measurable order greater than that of the RGB method, ability to determine the total fringe order without necessity of unwrapping.

We study the processes $e^+ e^-\to 2(\pi^+\pi^-)\pi^0\gamma$, $2(\pi^+\pi^-)\eta\gamma$, $K^+ K^-\pi^+\pi^-\pi^0\gamma$ and $K^+ K^-\pi^+\pi^-\eta\gamma$ with the hard photon radiated from the initial state. About 20000, 4300, 5500 and 375 fully reconstructed events, respectively, are selected from 232 fb$^{-1}$ of BaBar data. The invariant mass of the hadronic final state defines the effective $e^+ e^-$ center-of-mass energy, so that the obtained cross sections from the threshold to about 5 GeV can be compared with corresponding direct \epem measurements, currently available only for the $\eta\pi^+\pi^-$ and $\omega\pi^+\pi^-$ submodes of the $e^+ e^-\to 2(\pi^+\pi^-)\pi^0$ channel. About 20 000, 33 000 and 4000 fully reconstructed events, respectively, have been selected from 232 fb^(-1) of BABAR data. The invariant mass of the hadronic final state defines the effective e^+e^- center-of-mass energy, so that these data can be compared with the corresponding direct e^+e^- measurements. This paper reports measurements of processes: e+e-→γKS0K±π∓, e+e-→γK+K-π0, e+e-→γϕη, and e+e-→γϕπ0. The initial-state radiated photon allows to cover the hadronic final state in the energy range from thresholds up to ≈4.6 GeV. The overall size of the data sample analyzed is 232 fb-1, collected by the BABAR detector running at the PEP-II e+e- storage ring. From the Dalitz plot analysis of the KS0K±π∓ final state, moduli, and relative phase of the isoscalar and the isovector components of the e+e-→KK*(892) cross section are determined.
