Tutkielmassa käsitellään rikkihapon käyttöä sähkö- ja elektroniikkaromuun kuuluvan piirilevyjätteen liuotuksessa ja rikkihappoon liuenneiden metallien talteenottoa erilaisin menetelmin. Sähkö- ja elektroniikkaromu on pian maailman suurimmaksi kasvava jätevirta, jolla on sekä ympäristöllisiä että taloudellisia vaikutuksia, jos romun sisältämiä metalleja ei saada kierrätettyä. Elektroniikkalaitteiden piirilevyt sisältävät noin 60 % metalleja, joiden talteenottamiseksi on lähiaikoina tehty paljon tutkimusta. Suomi ajautui pian itsenäistymisensä jälkeen sisällissotaan talvella 1918. Tässä tutkimuksessa tarkastellaan sisällissotaa paikallisella tasolla ja oikeuslaitoksen näkökulmasta. Tutkimuksessa selvitetään, miten sota näkyi ja vaikutti kihlakunnanoikeuden toimintaan vuosina 1918–1919. Tutkimuspaikkakunnat ovat Leppävirta, Joroinen ja Puumala. Sota koetteli tutkimuspaikkakuntia eri tavoin. Leppävirralla ja Joroisissa sota koettiin laajamittaisesti, eivätkä pitäjät säästyneet taisteluilta. Leppävirralla ja Joroisissa sodan verisyyttä selittää Varkauden teollisuuskeskittymän läheinen sijainti. Abstract Background Breeding site choice constitutes an important part of the species niche. Nest predation affects breeding site choice, and has been suggested to drive niche segregation and local coexistence of species. Interspecific social information use may, in turn, result in copying or rejection of heterospecific niche characteristics and thus affect realized niche overlap between species. The aim of this study was to investigate the effects of rule changes on game-related statistics in men's water polo matches. A total of 856 men's matches played in all Olympic Games and World Championship since 1936 was analysed. The game-related statistics considered were: total goals, winners' goals, losers' goals, goals per minute, goals difference, relationship difference goals and total goals, and relationship difference goals and winners' goals. The rule changes were grouped by structural (game and period) and functional changes (possession time, exclusion time, timing, minimum distance to take a direct shot). Rethinking Vygotskian Cultural-Historical Theory in Light of Pepperian Root Metaphor Theory : Dynamic Interplay of the Organicism and Contextualism

This article examines Vygotskian cultural-historical theory by putting it into dialogue with Stephen Pepper's root metaphor theory. I focus on Vygotsky's insistence on the dialectical unity of the phylogenetic and ontogenetic domains in ontogenesis, which he articulated in his account of how the natural-psychological and cultural-psychological lines of development merge with the emergence of speeching in ontogenesis. I compare Vygotsky's two genetic domains and Pepper's world hypotheses of organicism and contextualism.
