Motivational Regulations Across the Stages of Change for Exercise in the General Population of Monterrey (Mexico)

Few studies have examined exercise adherence in the Mexican population using self-determination theory proposals and the stages of change model. The objectives of this study were:(a) to translate and adapt the Behavioral Regulation in Exercise Questionnaire-3 (BREQ-3) to Mexican Spanish and examine its internal consistency and factorial structure (six dimensions); and (b) to analyse variations in behavioral regulations using the stages of change model. Background: We examined effects of trait self‐control, constructs from social cognition theories, and intentions on health behaviours. Trait self‐control was expected to predict health behaviour indirectly through theory constructs and intentions. Starting from the assumption that space is a language and that food is also a language, what we will try to show in this paper is how these two languages, together, carry specific concepts of animality. For this reason, we will focus on two different places of food consumption that place animals at the centre of their proposal and that in recent years have spread in urban environments: cat cafes, where cats are conceived as subjects to pet, endowed with a predominantly emotional value, and dog restaurants, where dogs are in fact the real restaurant clients.

An integrative dual-route model of rhythm perception and production is proposed here. Furthermore, an empirical study illustrated in the second part of this paper provides evidence of the existence of two different cognitive pathways. The development of the model is based on fundamental psychological principles of perception, action control and relevant neurobiological findings in rhythm processing and sensorimotor synchronization. La chiusura delle scuole che ha provocato un incremento significativo della povertà educativa ha sollecitato l’opportunità di progettare interventi integrati di service learning per favorire il recupero e il potenziamento dei minori in difficoltà. 869 studenti del Corso di Laurea Magistrale in Scienze della Formazione Primaria dell’Università degli Studi di Palermo, sono stati coinvolti nella progettazione e nella realizzazione di percorsi didattici mirati, rivolti agli alunni “fragili” di 33 scuole palermitane.
