Perfekcionisma un ķermeņa tēla uztveres atšķirības cilvēkiem ar dažādu motivāciju fizisko aktivitāšu veikšanai

Pētījuma mērķis bija noskaidrot vai pastāv perfekcionisma un ķermeņa tēla uztveres atšķirības cilvēkiem ar dažādu fizisko aktivitāšu veikšanas motivāciju. Pētījumā piedalījās 194 dalībnieki vecumā no 18 līdz 42 gadiem, no kuriem 131 sieviete un 63 vīrieši. Respondenti tika dalīti 3 grupās – mazaktīvi indivīdi (n = 35; M = 30,31; SD = 6,51), indivīdi, kas ar fiziskām aktivitātēm nodarbojas labas pašsajūtas un fiziskās veselības veicināšanai un saglabāšanai (n = 103; M = 26,68; SD = 5,26) un indivīdi, kas ar fiziskām aktivitātēm nodarbojas, lai uzlabotu savu izskatu – samazinātu tauku masu un palielinātu muskuļu masu (n = 56; M = 27,23; SD = 4,54). Beam-induced and cosmic-ray backgrounds observed in the ATLAS detector during the LHC 2012 proton-proton running period

This paper discusses various observations on beam-induced and cosmic-ray backgrounds in the ATLAS detector during the LHC 2012 proton-proton run. Building on published results based on 2011 data, the correlations between background and residual pressure of the beam vacuum are revisited. Ghost charge evolution over 2012 and its role for backgrounds are evaluated. New methods to monitor ghost charge with beam-gas rates are presented and observations of LHC abort gap population by ghost charge are discussed in detail.
