L'espace de liberté comme mesure synthétique du développement territorial durable

2011

By discussing the concept of development itself, authors propose two synthetic indexes relying on estimation of potential: Development Space Value and Development Space Creation Under the weak hypothesis that any successful development improves future possibilities, changes in potential are a good development measure. In their path, authors show how development space is tied with freedom: a shrink in it results mechanically in indexes fall. So, "sustainable" and "economic" become two sides of same piece rather than enemies. Reliable in simulations, the approach is to be tested in real conditions, to verify full data availability and to secure calculating methods.

Structuration du territoire bourguignon : de l'île à l'isthme

2006

Three principles govern the structuration of the burgundian territory. Its internal organization, with the peripheral location of its most active areas, is similar to the organization of an island. Its situation within national and European space makes it an area of multiple transitions, an unsettled organization, submissive to strong centrifugal forces which can threaten its unity. Lastly, it has always been crossed by numerous links, it is an intermediate space between nodes, strongly marked with networks and exogenous traffic which criss-cross its territory.

La valeur et la vulnérabilité des espaces agricoles du département du Doubs : identification et évaluation multicritère des espaces agricoles

2019

This paper is part of the update of the atlas of the value and vulnerability of agricultural areas in the French territory of Doubs. It is a project initiated by the French “Direction Départementale des Territoires”, carried out in 2012 by the ThéMA laboratory, and whose update began in January 2019. The objective is to create a decision-making tool for spatial planning and development, for sustainable spatial management. This work presents the method for identifying agricultural areas in the Doubs and their evaluation based on a multi-criteria analysis built on four indices: environmental, spacial structure, financial assistance and labelling.

La viralité dans l’espace public numérique

2018

2016

Daily mobility data are multidimensional and desaggregated, what make them hard to manipulate and to analyze. Although methods of representation and analyze have been proposed, none of them seem to be able to efficiently bring out knowledge from data. We propose to combinate this solutions and a methodology of innovative reaggregation to visualize and explore mobility data.

La dollarisation des économies émergentes

2002

Current discussions about dollarization/euroization are built on substitution models and cost/benefits analysis. This working paper aims to go beyond these explanations based on a functionalist definition of money. An institutionalist definition of money advocates analyzing de facto dollarization more broadly as a legitimacy crisis of the unit of account that damages monetary sovereignty and of whom authorities try to check in a kind o f institutional resistance. A macroeconomic definition of money involves questionning full and de jure dollarization consistency with both of principles guiding the monetary economy of production: (1) endogeneity of money; (2) merger between monetary space an…
