Storia dell'arte e anacronismo delle immagini, Bollati Boringhieri, 2007, ndr.) che «la storia dell'arte non può essere che anacronistica», introduce la questione del montaggio definendolo come un principio epistemologico in grado di realizzare questo modello anacronistico di storia dell'arte. A questo proposito, secondo Lei, è possibile rintracciare una genealogia filosofica del concetto di montaggio? Quali potrebbero essere i pensatori che hanno maggiormente contribuito – in modo particolare prima della nascita del montaggio come strumento tecnico-cinematografico – alla teorizzazione del montaggio come principio epistemologico?
