Background The scanner does not measure the dental surface continually. Instead, it generates a point cloud, and these points are then joined to form the scanned object. Previous iterations of the Global Burden of Disease (GBD) study showed wide variation in injury death and disability adjusted life year (DALY) rates across Europe, indicating injury inequality gaps between sub-regions and countries. Estimate changes in soil organic carbon (SOC) stock after Agro Environment Measures adoption are strategically for national and regional scale. Uncertainty in estimates also represents a very important parameter in terms of evaluation of the exact costs and agro environment payments to farmers. In this study we modeled the variation of SOC stock after 10-year cover crop adoption in a vine growing area of South-Eastern Sicily. Nella fiaba illustrata di Dino Buzzati La famosa invasione degli orsi in Sicilia (1945) e nella sua trasposizione filmica ad opera di Lorenzo Mattotti (2019) l’ambientazione siciliana è determinante. In entrambi i casi la Sicilia è un’isola con un grande vulcano – trasfigurata in un ambiente fantastico o riscritta secondo alcuni stereotipi – che i due autori utilizzano con accezioni diverse nella costituzione dell’ecosistema delle loro narrazioni. This article examines the particular relationship that the German-Japanese writer Yoko Tawada and the German-Iranian writer SAID have with their second homeland, Germany. I also analyze how writers tell the experience of migration through the fantastic story of polar bears. SAID writes in the fairytale Schneebären lügen nie, 2013, of a fantastic encounter between a little girl and a lost polar bear and Tawada tells in the novel Etüden im Schnee, 2014, of three generations of polar bears and their experiences in different countries.
