Bakalaura darba tēmas „Ārvalstu tiešo investīciju ietekme uz Latvijas ekonomiku” galvenais mērķis ir izpētīt ārvalstu tiešo investīciju vidi Latvijā un novērtet ĀTI ietekmi uz tādiem makroekonomiskeim faktoriem kā eksporta apjoms, nodarbinātība, bezdarbs, valsts nodokļu ieņēmumi. Balstoties uz statistiskiem datiem, tika novērtēts ārvalstu uzņēmumu eksporta īpatsvars kā daļa no kopēja eksporta apjoma Latvijā, kā arī novērtēti ārvalstu investoru nodokļu maksājumi Latvijas valsts budžetā. Veicot lineārās regresijas analīzi, tika izpētīta ĀTI ietekme uz Latvijas bezdarba līmeni un nodarbināto iedzīvotāju skaitu katrā nozarē.
