Fabricación de fibras de cristal fotónico y grabación de redes de Bragg

Los trabajos y experimentos desarrollados en esta tesis han ido dirigidos fundamentalmente a la fabricación de fibras de cristal fotónico y a la grabación de redes de Bragg en éstas. Este proyecto se ha desarrollado en dos partes. La primera parte consiste en conocer las características y propiedades de las redes de Bragg grabadas en fibras ópticas. Thermal sensor based on a polymer nanofilm

In this work, we have developed a thermal sensor based on poly(3,4 ethylenedioxythiophene) (PEDOT) nanofilms as thermoelectric material. The PEDOT nanofilms have been synthesized by the electrochemical polymerization method. The thicknesses of the films were around 120 nm. The doping level of PEDOT was controlled by chemical reduction using hydrazine. The achieved Seebeck coeficient is 40 uV/K. A PEDOT nanofilm was integrated into an electronic circuit that amplifies the voltage originated from the Seebeck effect. The temperature increment produced by a fingerprint touching the film is enough to switch on a light emitting diode. Peer Reviewed

This article intends to analyse up to what extent the scarce learning produced when introducing the basic concepts on electrostatics is due to deficiencies and inadequacies in its routine teaching. So, on the one hand, we analyse what have been the principal epistemological leaps forward in the making of electricity as a science. On the other hand, we analyse Physics books and the teachers’ opinions.

TiO2 Nanostructures for Photoelectrocatalytic Degradation of Acetaminophen

[EN] Advanced oxidation processes driven by renewable energy sources are gaining attention in degrading organic pollutants in waste waters in an efficient and sustainable way. The present work is focused on a study of TiO2 nanotubes as photocatalysts for photoelectrocatalytic (PEC) degradation of acetaminophen (AMP) at different pH (3, 7, and 9). In particular, different TiO2 photocatalysts were synthetized by stirring the electrode at different Reynolds numbers (Res) during electrochemical anodization.
