Ne vienmēr likumpārkāpējam ieslodzījumā ir jāatrodas tik ilgi, cik to paredz tiesas spriedums. Krimināllikums paredz iespēju nosacīti atbrīvot no pilnīgas soda izciešanas personu, kura izcietusi daļu no soda. Nosacīti pirmstermiņa atbrīvotajām personām tiek piemērota uzraudzība, kuru veic Valsts probācijas dienests. Elektronisko vārdnīcu lietojumprogrammu viedtālruņos izmantošana studiju procesā

Pētījuma mērķis bija izpētīt elektronisko vārdnīcu lietotnes un kā to izmantošana var ietekmēt studiju procesu. Mērķa sasniegšanai tika izvēlētas divas pētījuma metodes – kontentanalīze un verbālais protokols. Ar kontentanalīzes palīdzību, tika noskaidrots vārdnīcu lietotņu: Google Translate, Merriam – Webster Dictionary, iTranslate, Oxford Advanced Learner Dictionary, Saruna Tulkotājs izmantošanas iespējas un to funkcijas. Otrajā pētījuma metodē tika pētīta šo lietojumprogrammu lietojamība, piedaloties 3 studentiem. Testing of the SPEDE conversion electron spectrometer at ISOLDE

Työssä testattiin uutta SPEDE-ilmaisinta CERNin ISOLDE-laboratorion MINIBALLkoeasemalla, jossa selvitetään ytimien rakenteita käyttämällä radioaktiivia suihkuja. Ilmaisimen testauksessa käytettiin radioaktiivisia Bi-207 ja Hg-191 lähteitä. SPEDE-ilmaisimella pystytään havaitsemaan sisäisen konversion elektroneja. Ytimen viritystilan purkautumisessa sisäinen konversio on kilpaileva prosessi tavanomaisemmalle γ-emissiolle. Sisäistä konversiota tutkimalla saadaan selvitettyä ytimen rakenteen ominaisuuksia kuten esimerkiksi E0-siirtymät ytimissä. Enterovirus B group (EV-B) viruses are important human pathogens which cause a variety of diseases from mild respiratory illnesses to more severe acute infections such as myocarditis and meningitis. EV-Bs have also been associated with chronic infections and autoimmune diseases such as type I diabetes. Because of their significance, better and more accurate methods are necessary to track and visualize viruses in vitro and in vivo. Do E-Athletes Move?

This article offers possibly the first peer-reviewed study on the training routines of elite e-athletes with special focus on the subjects' physical exercise routines. The study is based on a sample of 115 elite e-athletes. According to the responses, e-athletes train approximately 5.28 hours every day around the year on the elite level. Approximately 1.08 hours of that training is physical exercise. More than half (55.6%) of the elite e-athletes believe that integrating physical exercise in their training programs has a positive effect on esport performance; however, no less than 47.0% of the elite e-athletes do their physical exercise chiefly to maintain overall health. In our article, we analyse the ways audiences engage with Overwatch esports and construct their fan relationships. We situate our research into several intersecting theoretical frames. To understand how Overwatch esports audiences engage with the esports through different media and media related practices we apply the framework of transmedia studies in our examination. To better understand how meanings related to esports are constructed through these practices we also draw from research on fandom and fan engagement. Measurement of the production of high-pT electrons from heavy-flavour hadron decays in Pb–Pb collisions at √sNN = 2.76 TeV

Electrons from heavy-flavour hadron decays (charm and beauty) were measured with the ALICE detector in Pb–Pb collisions at a centre-of-mass of energy √sNN = 2.76 TeV. The transverse momentum (pT) differential production yields at mid-rapidity were used to calculate the nuclear modification factor RAA in the interval 3 < pT < 18 GeV/c. The RAA shows a strong suppression compared to binary scaling of pp collisions at the same energy (up to a factor of 4) in the 10% most central Pb–Pb collisions. There is a centrality trend of suppression, and a weaker suppression (down to a factor of 2) in semi-peripheral (50–80%) collisions is observed.
