Detection of infection by hematopoietic stem and progenitor cells (HSPCs) is essential to replace myeloid cells consumed during the immune response. HSPCs express some functional pattern recognition receptors involved in the recognition of Candida albicans. In this context, our group has previously demonstrated that C. albicans yeasts induce proliferation and differentiation of HSPCs via TLR2 and Dectin-1. In the present PhD thesis, we used in vitro and ex vivo models of HSPC differentiation to investigate the functional consequences for mature myeloid cells of exposure of HSPCs to PAMPs or C. albicans yeasts. Calderón's problem for p-laplace type equations

We investigate a generalization of Calderón’s problem of recovering the conductivity coefficient in a conductivity equation from boundary measurements. As a model equation we consider the p-conductivity equation div σ |∇u|p−2 ∇u = 0 with 1 < p < ∞, which reduces to the standard conductivity equation when p = 2. The thesis consists of results on the direct problem, boundary determination and detecting inclusions. We formulate the equation as a variational problem also when the conductivity σ may be zero or infinity in large sets. Drug resistance is the ability of cancer cells to gain resistance to both conventional and novel chemotherapy agents, and remains a major problem in cancer therapy. Antecedentes: SHOP LMA 2007 fue el protocolo vigente en el grupo SHOP para el tratamiento de la LMA infantil entre 2007 y 2017. Se concibió como un protocolo de ámbito nacional, diseñado para tratar de manera uniforme a los niños con LMA y mejorar su pronóstico. Las neoplasias mieloides relacionadas con la terapia (NMRT) se definen como aquellas leucemias mieloblásticas agudas (LMA) ó síndromes mielodisplásicos (SMD) desarrollados en pacientes previamente tratados con quimioterapia, radioterapia ó la combinación de ambas por una patología previa. Constituyen una de las mayores complicaciones de los supervivientes de otras formas de cáncer, representando entre un 10-20% de las LMA en el momento actual. Straujā velosipēdu izmantošana Valmieras pilsētā izceļ pilsētas infrastruktūras nepilnības, neapmierinot gan dažādo transporta līdzekļu, gan gājēju vajadzības un vēlmes.
