Aujourd'hui espace d'enjeux géostratégiques, le Sahara représente pour l'Algérie, comme pour les différents états du Maghreb, un hinterland porteur et vecteur de développement économique. Champs pétroliers, ressources en minerais et aquifères souterrains sont autant d'éléments qui, combinés à des considérations géopolitiques nationales et internationales, ont justifié une intégration au territoire national des vastes espaces sahariens. Mafic and ultra-mafic enclaves from Ustica island lava: inferences on deep magmatic processes

Ustica Island, southern Tyrrhenian Sea, is constituted of Quaternary alkaline volcanics. Avariety of enclaves representative of deep to supra-crustal settings were recently found in a hawaiitic lava flow. Enclaves consist of: (i) Ultramafic meta-cumulates, i.e. clinopyroxenites and wherlites characterized by variably deformed porphyroclastic to granoblastic textures. (ii) Mafic cumulates, i.e. gabbros (F amphibole) and troctolites, the first often characterized by frequent amphibole breakdown coronas (olivine+Tiaugite+ plagioclase+magnetite+ilmenite+rhfnite) in response to an H2O decrease during the ascent, while the troctolites interpreted as meta-cumulates. Abstract This study focuses on the comenditic trachyte enclaves hosted in pantelleritic lava and pumices emplaced during one of the most recent eruptive events at Pantelleria (~ 6 ka). Enclaves range from mm-sized fragments to dm-sized blocks with spheroidal to amoeboid shapes and characteristic globular surfaces; they are crystal-rich with ~ 30 vol% large anorthoclase, less abundant Fe-rich olivine, clinopyroxene and Fe–Ti oxides. Vesicles ranging from a few mm to 1–2 cm in size are distributed throughout the enclave and are commonly filled with microlite-free vesicular glass. Il Panier di Marsiglia e la Meschita di Palermo possono essere considerati come luoghi dell'identità, espressione costruita del vissuto di comunità connotate da una componente etnica marcata e prevalentemente altra rispetto al loro contesto immediato. Si tratta di siti urbani molto stratificati, che rilevano sensibilmente gli esiti e/o gli orientamenti di modificazione più emergenti delle rispettive città, approdi notori e privilegiati, da sempre, per le migrazioni mediterranee e internazionali.
Base de datos de variables geográficas y limnológicas de 30 lagunas someras de la costa pacífica de Nicaragua y Costa Rica [Dataset]

Esta base de datos contiene los valores de 24 variables (geográficas y limnológicas) de 30 lagunas costeras de la costa pacífica de Nicaragua y Costa Rica en tres periodos de su año hidrológico: comienzo de las lluvias (junio 2010), plena inundación (septiembre 2010) y sequía (enero 2011). En esta matriz de datos las filas son los cuerpos de agua muestreados y las columnas las variables. Cada periodo hidrológico muestreado se presenta en una hoja aparte. Descripción de estas lagunas basada en esta y en otra información se puede encontrar en Sasa et al. (2015: Limnetica vol 34).
