Objective: to validate an instrument designed to assess practical training and measure nursing student satisfaction with clinical practice modules. Method: cross-sectional study (academic year 2014-2015). Validation of the self-administered, anonymous, 17-item Nursing Student Satisfaction with Practical Training Questionnaire, developed by consensus by eight practical training experts in three nominal group sessions. Abstract Objective To assess the association between current active and passive tobacco smoking and living with a same-sex partner in Spain. Methods We analysed data from two cross-sectional national surveys of the Spanish population 15 years and older (2011-Encuesta Nacional de Salud en España and 2014-Encuesta Europea de Salud en España). Analyses included only people living with their partner. Associations were calculated using multiple logistic regressions adjusting for gender, social class and age. Serological surveys, which acquired considerable importance in the mid twentieth century, are still a key tool to address infectious diseases. This article, using archival and printed sources from the WHO and the medical and general press, analyses the role of doctors and scientists, government, and the WHO in the implementation of serological surveys to evaluate the situation of poliomyelitis, measles and rubella in Spain and to set up a plan of action against them. Las recientes reformas educativas han llevado a un aumento de las tareas que los alumnos deben realizar fuera del horario lectivo. En el presente artículo estudiamos la proporción de alumnos que copian dichas tareas. Para ello, utilizamos la técnica de listas aleatorizadas, la cual mejora la fiabilidad de los datos reportados por los estudiantes porque disminuye sus incentivos a mentir. Los resultados obtenidos muestran la capacidad de dicho método para obtener información en este tipo de cuestiones de naturaleza sensible.
