Thermomechanical Behavior of Beams Covered with Viscoelastic Patches

International audience; Infrared thermography is a non-destructive test method based on infrared measurement that provides a luminance map of the thermal scene observed, converting to temperature. The thermographic study allows a surface observation of the thermal effects in order to display the result as a film of the temperature distribution [1]. The present study focuses on the detection of volumetric energy sources in beams covered by viscoelastic patches.
Holes Interaction and Heterogeinity Distribution Effect for a Multiperforated Plate

International audience; Originally used to protect classical sound absorbing materials from environmental degradation, multi-perforated plates are considered to be one of the next generation soundproof solutions. This paper investigates the effects of holes interaction and heterogeneity distribution on the acoustical properties of a multi-perforated plate. These effects are observable on the specimens with closely separated holes. Multi-perforated plates with different center-to-center holes distances (pitches) are built and tested using an impedance tube. International audience; This paper presents an optimal selection on the region of interest (ROI) and color spaces to extract photoplethysmography signals from facial videos. The study is carried out under two sections; ROI selection and color space selection. We compared five different ROI selection for different regions of the face. International audience; The purpose of this work is the optimal conception of a wing built using fused deposition modeling (FDM), which is one of the main additive manufacturing (AM) process. PLA reinforced with carbon fiber was selected for the filament as we have defined their mechanical properties in previous work.
