After the fall of the Communist regime, the Romanian population has decreased approximately 15%, due to the high level of labour migration. The migration of Romanians was even more intensified later on, after Romania has joined the European Union. This decrease of population was due to an increased demand of the West-European population for domestic, construction and agricultural workers, corroborated with the entitlement of the new European citizens to free movement of workers within the territory of the European Union. Video games as a consumer product have changed significantly with the advent of in-game purchasing systems (e.g., microtransactions, ‘loot boxes’). This review examines consumer protections related to in-game purchasing by anticipating some of the potential design strategies that might contribute to higher risk consumer behavior. Attention was directed towards the analysis of patents for potential in-game purchasing systems, with 13 identified on Google Patents. The design features were analysed in relation to the consumer rights and guarantees described in the terms of use agreements of the patent assignees. Sickness insurance is part of the universal social insurance system, which is an expression of the legislator's implementation of the obligations imposed on the said in art. 67 of the Constitution of the Republic of Poland. Sickness insurance protects against certain social risks. The subject of this study is the risk of work incapacity due to illness. The issue of being subject to sickness insurance, which is the subject of systemic regulation (obligatory and voluntary insurance), is discussed.
