Ten essential features of European dual career development environments: A multiple case study
2021
Aim: Dual career development environments (DCDEs) support athletes’ effort in combining their competitive sporting careers with education or work. The characteristics of the environments may differ across cultures. The aim was to identify essential features of DCDEs based on a cross-case analysis of seven European DCDEs in Belgium, Denmark, Finland, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, and the United Kingdom within the Erasmus+ Sport project “Ecology of Dual Career”. Design: The study was designed as a multiple case study and based on two holistic ecological working models (Henriksen et al., 2020). The cross-case analysis included series of focus group discussions, in which two-three researchers from e…
Intensiivistä kielenopetusta vaihto-opiskelijoille
2013

DRAWING ALICANTE / DRAWING PALERMO. AN EXPERIENCE OF TEACHING INNOVATION WITHIN THE ERASMUS+ PROGRAM
2019
The present research work exposes the results of a teaching innovation experience carried out in connection with a mobility between Spain and Italy. We strongly believe that an inter-university experience, within the framework of a traditional academic program, can help students to learn new ways of understanding teaching, drawing, the profession and the architecture itself. The starting hypothesis defends the self-assessment as a method to build a critical positioning with respect to the drawing. To understand the research, it is necessary to explain the process: The students of the University of Alicante, within the framework of the Master of Architecture, have had the opportunity to prop…

Clustering Analysis of Questionnaire for Ph.D. studies in Electrical and Information Engineering in Europe
2013
The ELLEIEC ERASMUS thematic network was running from October 2008 to September 2011. This project deals with several aspects linked to Lifelong Learning in Electrical and Information Engineering in Europe. Within this project, Task 4 is dedicated to “Implementation issues across EIE”. The idea of this task was to see how we can, thanks to implementation using Programs available from the European Commission, and associates (ERASMUS, CD, ERASMUS-MUNDUS, ATLANTIS, IP) to emphasize and develop mobility and cross-recognition. Another aspect, strongly connected, was to analyze the existing and possible interactions of Higher Education Institutions and Lifelong Learning. The European consortium o…
