Nasal ulceration, facial emphysema, periorbital ecchymosis, mandibular subluxation, gingival and mucosal ulceration, dental and salivary gland pain and glossopharyngeal neuralgia have been reported as possible manifestations of factitious disease. Milker’s nodules, also called paravaccinia, is a DNA virus transmitted from infected cows to humans. It results from contact with cattle, cattle byproducts, or fomites. Classified as an occupational disorder, those at risk of exposure include farmers, butchers, and agricultural tourists. The viral infection begins 5—15 days after inoculation as an erythematous-purple, round nodule with a clear depressed center, and a surrounding erythematous ring. While familiar to those in farming communities, the presence of the nodule may be concerning to others, particularly the immunosuppressed. Celem tekstu jest analiza przemian w sferze obrony praw człowieka w Izraelu i na Palestyńskich Terytoriach Okupowanych. Rozdział rozpoczyna się od zarysowania zjawiska, jakie niektórzy komentatorzy określają mianem „putinizacji" Izraela. Następnie omawia się dławienie pokojowego oporu wobec okupacji ziem palestyńskich. Kolejny podrozdział skupia się na kryminalizacji działań obrońców praw człowieka. Ostatnia część dotyczy traktowania niektórych Izraelczyków jako wrogów swego narodu. W podsumowaniu zwraca się uwagę na negatywne czynniki, które osłabiają demokrację w Izraelu.

Flavonoids are a group of polyphenolic compounds with different chemical structure and properties. These compounds may scavenge free radical species and other oxidants. In previous studies, we have observed that some polyphenols are able to cross the erythrocyte’smembrane and this process is influenced by the plasmatic albumin; in fact quercetin intracellular concentrations is albumin dose depending. The influence of flavonoids on catalase activity has been reported in some papers but the results are contradictory.
