The research has been devoted to the theoretical interpretation and to the modeling of the mechanical behavior of Quaternary structured soils in the Western South-Western Sicily belonging to the complex calcarenitic-sandy-clayey. After a review about the state of knowledge on the influence of textural characteristics such as fabric and bonding on mechanical behavior, this note presents the results of an experimental analysis by mean of textural identification tests, oedometer tests, triaxial and isotropic tests. For each lithotype critical state conditions and yield strength are defined.

[EN] Purpose: The purpose of this paper is to choose the best method for ex ante business model evaluation, improve it and provide a framework to put it into practice. Design/Methodology/Approach: After an in-depth review, we chose the best method for ex ante business model evaluation, improved this method, and applied it to a real case study in which business models had been proposed for a Sustainable Smart District project. A partir de la rica documentación conservada en el Archivo Municipal de Valencia, los llibres d'aveinaments, en el presente artículo se reflexiona sobre los perfiles socio-profesionales de los nuevos vecinos, la evolución de los flujos migratorios y las causas que los condicionaron, especialmente la reproducción social de las élites urbanas y las políticas de segregación.
