Bioetyki kulturowe stanowią reakcję na dominację zachodniego paradygmatu bioetyki i etyki medycznej kojarzonej głównie z pryncypializmem i filozofią utylitarystyczną, dominację będącą spuścizną kolonializmu. Na fali tego ruchu powstały bioetyka konfucjańska, japońska, bioetyka latynoska, a także bioetyka afrykańska. W artykule przedstawiam główne założenia, kulturowe podstawy, problemy i nurty bioetyki afrykańskiej. Analizę porównawczą wykonałam na przykładach bioetyki Bantu i Ibo. Bioetyki kulturowe w Ameryce Łacińskiej

W artykule została przedstawiona charakterystyka bioetyki łacińskiej, jej korzenie i geneza, rozwój w poszczególnych, wybranych krajach, a także typowa problematyka. Bioetyka łacińska u swych początków jako dyscyplina akademicka czerpała głównie ze Stanów Zjednoczonych. Niewspółmierność problematyki paradygmatów bioetyki zachodniej do realiów krajów łacińskich doprowadziła do przewartościowania i prób wypracowania własnej, swoistej, bardziej adekwatnej bioetyki kulturowej.

This article presents an important document relating to the history of an Orthodox church in Sibiu (Biserica din Groapă), whose construction was possible due to the support provided by the family of the wealthy Macedonian-Romanian merchant Hagi Constantin Pop, at the beginning of the nineteenth century. After a thorough description of the document, we will provide both the German transcription and the English translation of the text. The notes and comments that accompany the document are meant to shed light upon the historical context in which the church was raised and to emphasize the importance of the document, which is the oldest one preserved in the archives of the Annunciation Church. …

Furthermore, recent studies reveal that body image is not only a trait, but also a momentary state subject to change in diverse situational contexts. However, cultural influences on momentary body image have not been sufficiently investigated. Abstract In a previous study we have researched the causes of the current global crisis, which manifests itself in financial terms, but whose origin is due to the ethical model of reference. Following these ethical issues, the aims and topics of the present paper are: producing a systematic analysis of the ethical indicators used in the current international practices; extrapolating the ethical ranking models with a high relevance in Business Economics and highlighting the strong limits of the methodology in current use.
Ethical Decision-Making by Business Students: Factors of Influence

Business and university stakeholders ask what institutions of higher education are doing to improve student ethics. Our research produces a theoretic model offering insight into a comprehesive process of influences to business student ethical decision making, and its implications for the purposeful moral development of students. Using qualitative, grounded theory methods, we asked 27 business juniors and seniors how the university environment influences their ethical decision making in university life.
