Reframing Climate Justice : A Three-dimensional View on Just Climate Negotiations

This article proposes reframing the justice discourse in climate negotiations. In so doing, it makes two claims. First, global climate negotiations deserve to be addressed as an issue of justice on their own due to their peculiar characteristics. Second, a multidimensional theory of justice is superior to distributional theories for this task. To support these arguments, I apply the multidimensional theory of justice to global climate negotiations. This analysis reveals that injustice in the negotiations is multidimensional and irreducible to distributional questions. Nutraceuticals are largely used by general population. During the last decades, academicians and industries are intensifying the research of new bioactive compounds in order to improve the quality of life and to prevent disease in humans. The quality of the published research is however not always based on the rules of the Good Clinical Practice nor finalized to create a new Evidence-Based nutraceutical sciences. This chapter will resume some basic rules that we will expect to be applied to nutraceutical research in the next years.

Situational Action Systems

Situational aspects of action are discussed. The presented approach emphasizes the role of situational contexts in which actions are performed. These contexts influence the course of an action; they are determined not only by the current state of the system but also shaped by other factors as time, the previously undertaken actions and their succession, the agents of actions and so on. The distinction between states and situations is explored from the perspective of action systems. The notion of a situational action system is introduced and its theory is expounded. This article explores promising points of contact between philosophy and the expanding field of virtual reality research.
