This article discusses the topic of censorship in the communist Poland. It presents a description of the functioning of the office of censorship (Main Office for the Control of Presentations and Public Performances; Główny Urzęd Kontroli Prasy, Publikacji i Widowisk) as well as other forms of informal influence on the authors working for public publishing houses. The underground publications suppressed during the Stalin era as well as difficulties encountered by Polish historians after 1956 will be the subject of the analysis. This study is an invitation to reflect on issues that fall within the area of collective memory, an area that awaits further in-depth analysis. More specifically, this article is a proposal of a broader study on cultural landscape and places of memory than that which is dominant in the sociological literature. In particular, I examine the relationship between the inhabitants of the Polish “Western Lands” and the material German heritage of the cities in which they happen to live. Sens et pratiques de l’héritage en contexte diasporique

En partant de la notion de discontinuités pour éclairer les concepts d’héritage et de diaspora, cette étude éclaire le sens et les pratiques des jeunes générations d’origine vietnamienne. L’article se concentre sur les événements qui structurent une temporalité de l’héritage et de la transmission. Le décès et la naissance d’un côté et le retour au Vietnam de l’autre nourrissent un sens de la communauté transnationale, alimentée par des pratiques, parfois digitales, qui se révèlent alors toujours tournées vers les liens familiaux.
