The objective of the present work is to keep track of the Erinyes in the Western tradition, starting with Aeschylus´ Eumenides. We are taking into account the intertextuality and intermodality, as it is typical of the studies on the Classical Tradition. We are also paying attention to disciplines as varied as literature, ceramics, painting, cinema… with the aim of reflecting the evolution undergone by these characters over time. Thus, we will observe that the specific circumstances surrounding each recreation or reinterpretation implies that the author/artist judges them in a specific way. En este estudio nos proponemos acercarnos a The Family Reunion, una de las primeras piezas dramáticas de T. S. Eliot, desde la óptica de los estudios de recepción clásica. Por ello, iremosdesgranando los distintos motivos y recursos que el poeta tomó de la tradición grecolatina,centrándonos principalmente en la figura de las Euménides In this study we intend to have a closer look to The Family Reunion, one of the first theatre plays of T. S. Eliot, from the perspective of the classical studies. In order to carry out this aim, we will spell out the different topics and resources that the poet borrowed from the Graeco-Latin tradition, focusing mainly on the figure of the Eumenides.
