Wielki kryzys gospodarczy oraz rozgoryczenie społeczeństwa niemieckiego postanowieniami traktatu wersalskiego pomogły Adolfowi Hitlerowi w objęciu władzy w państwie, co skutkowało poważnymi zmianami w polityce wewnętrznej i zewnętrznej Rzeszy. Sytuacji w Niemczech bacznie przyglądała się również polska opinia publiczna. W artykule zbadane zostało zainteresowanie prasy endeckiej wydarzeniami, które miały miejsce bezpośrednio po upadku Republiki Weimarskiej.

Cet article présente une analyse de la qualité de l’emploi des femmes de chambre dans divers pays d’Europe sous le double aspect des contraintes patronales de gestion de main-d’œuvre, et de la construction des trajectoires professionnelles des salariées. Vulnérables, peu qualifiées et peu valorisées, souvent d’origine étrangère, la plupart des femmes de chambre sont aisément fidélisées du fait de leur faible employabilité sur le marché du travail. Thus, the development of a European career can be a challenge for each of us, depending on personal choices and on the context and development of each person's life. Artikkelissa tarkastellaan vuoden 1918 työväenperinteessä hahmottuvaa naiskuvaa keskittyen kuolemaa käsitteleviin lauluihin ja runoihin. Aineisto koostuu arkistoaineistosta ja kirjoittajan isoisän sotilasmuistiosta. Punaiset laulut ja runot ovat luokkataistelun aseita ja jo sellaisenaan kiistävää folklorea. Niiden faattinen funktio oli motivoida yksilöt kollektiiviksi sekä ylläpitää ja vahvistaa ryhmän yhteistä ideologista identiteettiä. Niiden keskeiset teemat ovatkin juuri ideologia ja kuolema. Identity politics of the promotional videos of the European Heritage Label

During past decades, the EU has responded to a variety of ‘crises’ by promoting a common cultural heritage to advance European identity and belonging. This article analyses identity politics conducted in the framework of the EU’s flagship heritage action, the European Heritage Label. I borrow from ‘banal nationalism’ to scrutinise the usage of ‘we’ and ‘us’ in the promotional videos of the European Heritage Label sites as subject positions offered for identification in this heritage discourse. Analysis shows that the subject positions are constituted by an emphasis on the national level, preservation of the past for future generations and the key role of experts in the process of heritage. …
