Operāciju māsu darbā ir daudz risku, kas var kļūt par cēloni nelaimes gadījumiem darbā, arī arodsaslimšanām. Operāciju māsas riskē ar savu veselību – darbs piespiedu pozā vienveidīgas kustības, kas veiktas ātrā tempā, smagumu pārvietošanas ( piem. pacienta, smagu komplektu pārvietošana), garas darba stundas un pārslodzes. Preventive Support for Kindergarteners Most At-Risk for Mathematics Difficulties: Computer-Assisted Intervention

Weaknesses in early number skills have been found to be a risk factor for later difficulties in mathematical performance. Nevertheless, only a few intervention studies with young children have been published. In this study, the responsiveness to early support in kindergarteners with most severe difficulties was examined with two different computer programs. Two intervention groups were matched by age, visuo-spatial, and phonological working memory, as well as early number skills. Individual Creativity and Career Choices of Pre-teens in the Context of a Math-Art Learning Event

A sample of 392 students (aged 12-13 years, M± SD: 12. 52% girls) completed a learning module integrating informal hands-on mathematics and arts activity (extending STEM to STEAM). Within a 140 minute workshop period participants worked with commercially available ‘4Dframe’ Math and STEAM learning toolkits to design and create original, personal and individual geometrical structures. Two science pedagogues acted as tutors supervising the process and intervened only when needed.
