Prevalence of early and late age-related macular degeneration in India: the INDEYE study.

Purpose.: To estimate the prevalence of early and late age-related macular degeneration (AMD) in India. Methods.: Of 7518 people aged 60 years and older identified from randomly sampled villages in North and South India, 5853 (78%) attended an eye examination including fundus photography. Fundus images were graded according to the Wisconsin Age-Related Maculopathy Grading System. Results.: Fundus images were ungradable in 1587 people, mainly because of cataract. People 80 years of age and older were less likely to attend the eye examination and more likely to have ungradable images. In combination with lenalidomide and dexamethasone (KRd), Carfilzomib has been approved for the treatment of relapsed and refractory multiple myeloma (RRMM) on ASPIRE trial. Efficacy and safety of the triplet are still the object of investigation by many groups to confirm ASPIRE results in the setting of RRMM treated in real-life who don't meet trial restrictive inclusion criteria. Therefore, we report a retrospective multicenter analysis of 600 RRMM patients treated with KRd between December 2015 and December 2018. A primal-dual algorithm for the fermat-weber problem involving mixed gauges

We give a new algorithm for solving the Fermat-Weber location problem involving mixed gauges. This algorithm, which is derived from the partial inverse method developed by J.E. Spingarn, simultaneously generates two sequences globally converging to a primal and a dual solution respectively. In addition, the updating formulae are very simple; a stopping rule can be defined though the method is not dual feasible and the entire set of optimal locations can be obtained from the dual solution by making use of optimality conditions. Textures evolving over time are called temporal textures and are very common in everyday life. Examples are the smoke flowing or the wavy water of a river.
