New Measurements of the Beam Normal Spin Asymmetries at Large Backward Angles with Hydrogen and Deuterium Targets

International audience; New measurements of the beam normal single spin asymmetry in the electron elastic and quasielastic scattering on the proton and deuteron, respectively, at large backward angles and at ⟨Q2⟩=0.22 (GeV/c)2 and ⟨Q2⟩=0.35 ( GeV/c)2 are reported. The experimentally observed asymmetries are compared with the theoretical calculation of Pasquini and Vanderhaeghen [Phys. Rev. C 70, 045206 (2004).PRVCAN0556-281310.1103/PhysRevC.70.045206]. The agreement of the measurements with the theoretical calculations shows a dominance of the inelastic intermediate excited states of the nucleon, πN and the Δ resonance. In the first part, there is highlighted the current situation of Romania comparing with other European countries when it comes about graduates finding a job in their field of studies. We are reporting new dimeric units of basic carboxylates bearing the {Fe III 2M IIO} motif for M = Co and Ni, covalently bound through the tetradentate bridging (LL) 2,2′-azopyiridine (azpy) and 2,3-di(2-pyridyl)quinoxaline ligands (dpq). We structurally characterized the hexanuclear clusters, and their magnetic properties have been fully analyzed. DFT calculations have been performed as a supplementary tool. All results evidence a weak antiferromagnetic interaction through the bridging ligands between isolated spin ground states arising from intra-Fe 2MO core exchange couplings. Abstract d -β-Hydroxybutyrate dehydrogenase (BDH) (EC 1.1.1.30), a membrane enzyme, has been purified to homogeneity from dromedary ( Camelus dromedarius ) liver mitochondria. Our new purification method consisted of the solubilization of mitochondrial membranes by Triton X 100 and purification of BDH by two steps: DEAE-Sephacel and Phenyl-Sepharose. The molecular mass of the enzyme subunit size was 67 kDa. The purified enzyme is recognized by anti rat liver mitochondrial BDH antibodies. Furthermore, BDH activity was absolutely dependent upon phospholipids. In this study, we investigated the expression level of Ras-homologous (Rho) GTPases and the Rho guanine exchange factor (GEF) T-cell lymphoma invasion and metastasis 1 (Tiam1) in breast tumor specimens (n=106) by immunohistochemistry. Rho and Rho-GEF expression scores were compared to clinically established diagnostic and prognostic parameters. We found that RhoA and RhoB scores slightly increased with tumor grade, whereas the Rac1 score remained unaffected. The most significant effects were observed for the Rac1-specific GEF Tiam1. The simplified apple dry matter production model developed by Lakso and Johnson (1990) was modified by inputing tree-specific parameters from a study of seasonal growth and gas exchange of 4-year-old Empire/M.9 apple trees, and light and temperature response curves developed for Empire apple organs. Measurements of the seasonal trend of diurnal net C02 and canopy water vapor exchange were made at intervals on three four-year-old 'Empire'/M.9 slender spindle apple trees in the orchard from 10 days after bloom until 25 days after harvest.
