Il contributo mira a esaminare le relazioni vigenti tra le opere tolkieniane e l’Eneide di Virgilio, con particolare riferimento al motivo mitico del viaggio. Dal confronto ragionato tra l’epos latino e la mitopoiesi di Tolkien si intende sviluppare un’analisi dei temi principali riguardanti i motivi del viaggio e dell’esilio: il fardello del potere e dell’eletto del fato (Enea fato profugus e Aragorn Re Ramingo), con attenzione a Enea, spossato dai labores e asservito al volere dei fata, e al ritorno di Aragorn come Re. Escritura y ciudad en María Zambrano : reencuentro de una amistad perdida tras la derrota sufrida

En este trabajo abordamos la reflexión que sobre el acto del escribir y la escritura realiza María Zambrano en sus escritos "Del escribir" y "Por qué se escribe", para relacionarlos con uno de los espacios más importantes para la pensadora: la ciudad. Aunque Zambrano no desarrolló una "teoría" sobre la ciudad propiamente dicha, su significado e imagen se encuentran en gran parte de su obra. La escritura, como logos que existe físicamente en el mundo, construye la ciudad: ese lugar de la palabra y de la libre expresión que nos protege. Una ciudad que parece derrotada ante la desaparición del pensamiento creativo, no instrumental, en el espacio público y que exige su reencuentro.

Three artists in exile focuses on the historical diaspora provoked by the Spanish civil war (1936- 1939), and how it influenced three prominent figures of the cultural scene of that period: the writer and typographer Max Aub Mohrenwitz (Paris, 1903-Ciudad de Mexico, 1972); the architect Félix Candela Outeriño (Madrid, 1910-Raleigh, US, 1977); and the artist Josep Renau Berenguer (Valencia, 1907-Berlín, 1982). Resumen Durante la Guerra Civil española (1936-1939) unos 5000 niños y niñas tuvieron que marchar al exilio, encontrando en Bélgica un nuevo hogar de acogida temporal. Al finalizar el conflicto bélico, la mayoría de ellos fueron repatriados y regresaron junto a sus familias o a centros benéfico-paternalistas franquistas. W okresie II wojny światowej piłsudczycy, powszechnie obwiniani za klęskę wrześniową w 1939 r., znaleźli się w politycznej izolacji. Od początku marca 1942 r. piłsudczycy w Wielkiej Brytanii wydawali powielany biuletyn „Listy z Londynu”. Pojedynczy egzemplarz czasopisma liczył zazwyczaj od czterech do dziesięciu stron gęsto zapisanego maszynopisu w formacie A4. Powołanie własnego organu prasowego było sporym sukcesem. On the performance of the Spanish teachers that accompanied the so called «Children of Morelia» expedition, the specialists that have dealt with the topic so far have made a severe negative judgment.
