Jauna stereoredzes testa izstrāde krustotās un nekrustotās disparitātes novērtēšanai

Darbs uzrakstīts angļu valodā uz 49 lappusēm. Tas satur 47 attēlus, 3 tabulas un atsauces uz 27 literatūras avotiem. Darba mērķis bija izstrādāt jaunu datorizētu stereoredzes testu krustotās un nekrustotās disparitātes novērtēšanai. Lokālās un globālās stereoredzes sliekšņi tika novērtēti pielietojot psihofizikālo trepju metodi. Pētījuma dalībnieku uzdevums bija atpazīt telpiskus attēlus. Stimuliem tika izvēlēti dažādi ekspozīcijas laiki – 5 sekundes (ilgais laiks), 550 ms un 250 ms (īsie laiki). Krustotās un nekrustotās disparitātes stereoslieksnis dažādos vecumos

Maģistra darbs uzrakstīts uz 75 lappusēm, satur 40 attēlus, 10 tabulas un darbā ir atsauces uz 100 literatūras avotiem. Maģistra darba mērķis bija novērtēt krustotās un nekrustotās disparitātes atšķirības dažāda vecuma cilvēkiem. Pētījuma dalībnieki tika iedalīti četrās vecuma grupās. Pētījumā piedalījās 61 dalībnieks (vecumā no 19 līdz 78 gadiem). Pētījuma dalībniekiem nebija acu slimības, redzes asums bija vismaz 0,0 vai labāks (LogMAR sistēmā). Stereoredzes noteikšanai tika izmantots digitālais izliedēto punktu globālā principa stereotests, kopā ar pakāpjveida psihofizikālo metodi. L'exposition à l'O3 est délicate à modéliser car ce polluant présente une forte variabilité spatiotemporelle. Le but des présents travaux est d'optimiser l'évaluation des concentrations journalières d'O3 modélisées à échelle kilométrique, à l'aide de modèles MARS et de données météorologiques. Clinical significance analyses of controlled studies comparing Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) and Cognitive Therapy (CT) in the treatment of Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) are scarce. The objective of this study is to compare the clinical efficacy of ERP and CT for OCD patients, and the usefulness of each in changing dysfunctional beliefs and thought control strategies at post-treatment and at a one-year follow-up. Positron Studies of Subsurface Zone in Titanium Created in Sliding Wear

Positron annihilation studies of the subsurface zone constituted during dry sliding in pure titanium are reported. A new type of defect depth profile in this zone, which is not an exponential decay usually reported for other metals and alloys, is observed. Two layers in the subsurface zone are present in this metal. In the layer adjacent to the worn surface, the characteristic plateau of the mean positron lifetime that extends to a depth of 60–70 μm was observed. Small vacancy clusters and dislocations were recognized in this layer. At deeper zone, the mean positron lifetime decreased exponentially in the manner typical for the other metals. Previous studies consistently showed that human listeners primarily consider the beginning of a time-varying sound when judging its overall loudness, and place less weight on subsequent temporal portions. However, all experiments studying this primacy effect in temporal loudness weights presented the target sound in quiet. Here, we compared temporal weights when the target sound was either presented in quiet or in a continuous background noise, and for a variation in the level of the target sound across a range of 60 dB. Abstract During the Pleistocene the territory of Latvia was repeatedly overridden by Scandinavian ice sheets, at least from the Elsterian onwards. Extent limit of all glaciations was located far outside of Latvia. Due to vigorous erosion by subsequent glaciations the Pleistocene record is incomplete.
