MICELLAR CHROMATOGRAPHIC PROCEDURE WITH DIRECT INJECTION FOR THE DETERMINATION OF SULFONAMIDES IN MILK AND HONEY SAMPLES

The capability of liquid chromatography with micellar mobile phases of sodium dodecyl sulfate (SDS), of allowing the direct injection of biological fluids into reversed-phase columns, was applied to the determination of sulfonamides in milk and honey samples. The chromatographic behavior of a group of 15 sulfonamides was studied at pH 3.0 where the drugs showed a greater separation space. Acetonitrile was added to the mobile phase to decrease the retention of the most hydrophobic drugs and increase the efficiencies, which yielded a higher resolution. The influence of the natural bile acid surfactant sodium taurocholate (CAS 81-24-3) on colic and duodenal (i.e. the proximal third of the small intestine) absorption of cefadroxil (CAS 50370-12-2) was studied using the in situ rat gut technique, and compared with the effect of sodium lauryl sulfate (CAS 151-21-3), the most widely used synthetic anionic surfactant. Inhibitors of apoptosis confer resistance to tumour suppression by adoptively transplanted cytotoxic T-lymphocytes in vitro and in vivo

Deregulation of apoptosis signalling is commonly found in cancer and results in resistance to cytotoxic therapies. Immunotherapy is a promising strategy to eliminate resistant cancer cells. The transfer of T-lymphocytes during allogeneic stem cell transplantation is clinically explored to induce a 'graft-versus-tumor' effect (GvT). Cytotoxic T-lymphocytes (CTL), which are major effectors of GvT, eliminate cancer cells by inducing apoptosis via multiple parallel pathways. Non-regular network performance comparison between HSDPA and LTE

In this paper we study and benchmark the performance of 3rd Generation Partnership Project (3GPP) High Speed Downlink Packet Access (HSDPA) and 3GPP Long Term Evolution (LTE) Downlink with constant bit rate type traffic. In addition a non-regular simulation scenario is considered using realistic propagation data and base station positions related to Tokyo city downtown area. Reflexions on the Picture Book of the Printer Fadrique Biel of Basel

Se estudia en este artículo la producción impresa ilustrada de la época incunable del impresor burgalés Fadrique Biel, Alemán de Basilea. La casi totalidad de sus libros con láminas en su interior han sido copiados de ejemplares procedentes de las prensas zaragozanas de los Hurus, y unos pocos imitan impresos franceses de finales del siglo X V . Posiblemente mantuvo una competencia desleal con los talleres que le sirvieron de inspiración. La innovación de los entalladores y cinceladores de la imprenta burgalesa es escasa, por lo que se pone en duda la originalidad de las láminas de la Comedia de Calisto y Melibea.

La afectación ganglionar se ha considerado hasta el momento un factor relevante para la supervivencia, estadiaje y tipo de tratamiento de las pacientes diagnosticadas de cáncer de mama.  Se define al ganglio centinela (GC) como el primer ganglio de una cadena linfática que recibe el flujo linfático desde el tumor primario. Si este ganglio no contiene células tumorales es poco probable que el resto de ganglios axilares presenten enfermedad metastásica (1).
